What Is Dynamics &
Vibration Testing?

Dynamics and vibration testing simulates the mechanical stresses — vibration, shock, drop, bump, and transportation loads — that a product experiences during its real-world lifecycle. Failures caused by fatigue, resonance, loose joints, and solder-crack are identified before they ever reach your customers.

At our NABL-accredited laboratory in Hyderabad, we operate state-of-the-art electrodynamic shakers, drop-test rigs, and HALT/HASS chambers — covering the full spectrum of international standards from MIL-STD-810H to DO-160G and IEC 60068.

Detect resonance, fatigue, and solder-crack failures early
Meet defence, aerospace, automotive, and telecom qualification standards
Tri-axial simultaneous testing for faster qualification
NABL-accredited, DGAQA-approved, TEC-recognised reports
Remote live witnessing for global engineering teams

HALT & HASS — Beyond Standard Qualification

Two of the most powerful reliability tools in product development and production — available at our Hyderabad facility.

HALT
Highly Accelerated Life Test
Design Phase · Weakness Discovery
HALT pushes your product well beyond its specified operating limits using combined temperature stress and multi-axis random vibration. The goal is not pass/fail — it is to find and fix every weakness before they reach the field.
Cold & hot step stress from −70°C to +180°C
6DOF random vibration escalated in Grms steps
Combined temp + vibration sequences
Operating & destruct limit identification
Dramatically reduces field return rates
HASS
Highly Accelerated Stress Screen
Production Phase · Defect Elimination
HASS applies HALT-derived stress levels to every unit coming off the production line. It finds infant-mortality failures — bad solder joints, wrong components, workmanship defects — before your customers ever see them.
Derived from HALT-determined stress limits
Production-integrated automated screening
Dramatically reduces field warranty costs
Proof-of-screen (PoS) process validation
Preserves remaining product life

Frequently Asked
Questions

Still have questions about our dynamics and vibration testing? Our engineers are happy to help.

Contact an Engineer
What vibration frequency range does your shaker cover?
Our electrodynamic shaker systems cover a frequency range of 5 Hz to 2000 Hz, accommodating sinusoidal sweeps, fixed-frequency dwells, and random vibration PSD profiles per customer specifications or international standards.
Can you test large or heavy products?
Yes. We have multiple shaker systems with different force and payload capacities. Please provide your product's dimensions, weight, and centre of gravity — we will confirm suitability and advise on the appropriate fixture design.
Do you design test fixtures?
Yes. Our engineering team designs and manufactures custom test fixtures for your product. Good fixture design is critical to accurate results — we ensure proper load transfer and minimal fixture resonance within the test frequency range.
What is the difference between HALT and standard vibration testing?
Standard vibration testing checks pass/fail against a specified stress level. HALT pushes the product well beyond its operating limits using combined temperature and multi-axis vibration to find and fix design weaknesses — it is a design tool, not a qualification test. The goal is to maximise your product's reliability margin.
Are your reports accepted by DGAQA?
Yes. Arudhya Test Solutions holds DGAQA approval (Certificate # 1408/LAB) specifically covering dynamics and vibration testing for defence products. Our NABL-accredited reports are accepted by DGAQA, defence OEMs, and Indian government procurement agencies.
Can I witness the vibration test remotely?
Absolutely. We provide a live HD remote witnessing facility that lets your team observe the full shaker test in real-time from any connected device, anywhere in the world. This includes live display of the vibration profile, sensor data, and test status — saving travel time and costs for global engineering teams.
